The Opening Between Thought and Reaction

Becoming mindful of the space between thought and reaction offers the opportunity to respond from a place of peace.

When you succeed in discovering that space, however slight, that exists between your thoughts and your reactions, you have discovered the opening to non-reactivity. When you expand that space with mindful attention to it, your responses will begin more and more to come from a place of peace, and the world will begin to reflect that peace back to you.
